Dr. Acker   

Dr. Acker attended Williams College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree.  He then earned his medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, RI.  He is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  He lives locally with his wife and 2 children.  He enjoys caring for children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents.

Dr. McQuaid                                     

Dr. McQuaid attended medical school at Columbia University. She performed her Pediatric Residency at Children’s Hospital in Boston and Boston Medical Center. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society. Dr. McQuaid was raised in New York City, but returned to her native Massachusetts, and has been at Pediatric Associates at Northwoods since 1996. While Dr. McQuaid enjoys taking care of children of all ages, she has a particular interest in the newborn period, including breastfeeding challenges, colic and sleep problems.  She enjoys helping families navigate the terrible two’s, terrific three’s and fabulous fours on through school age hurdles.   Dr. McQuaid and her husband have two children. The McQuaids are avid swimmers and spend most of their free time at swim meets.

Dr. Silvia                        
Dr. Silvia graduated summa cum laude from Providence College and earned her medical degree from Brown University on a scholarship from the US Air Force. She completed her pediatric residency at the Keelser Technical Training Center Medical Center at Keelser Air Force Base. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Silvia joined Pediatric Associates in 1995. She lives in Lakeville with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys caring for children of all ages but especially enjoys working with newborns and new parents.

Dr. Fasanello

Dr. Fasanello has been a pediatrician since 1996, starting out as a pediatric resident at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Rhode Island and then joining Pediatric Associates at Northwoods in 1999.  A Wellesley College alumna, she attended Boston University School of Medicine to start her medical career.  She is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Currently working part-time, she enjoys providing medical care, teaching and advice to parents and patients from infancy into young adulthood.

Elizabeth Tomase, CPNP
Beth has been with the practice since its start.  She received her RN degree from Brockton Hospital School of Nursing.  She then earned her Master of Science degree from Northeastern University as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 1999.  She is nationally certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.  Beth enjoys working with children of all ages and their families, as well as teens and young adults.  She and her husband have 3 children and live in Franklin.
